ASV | And we have the word of prophecy [made] more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:
|
BE | And so the words of the prophets are made more certain; and it is well for you to give attention to them as to a light shining in a dark place, till the dawn comes and the morning star is seen in your hearts;

LSG | Et nous tenons pour d'autant plus certaine la parole prophétique, à laquelle vous faites bien de prêter attention, comme à une lampe qui brille dans un lieu obscur, jusqu'à ce que le jour vienne à paraître et que l'étoile du matin se lève dans vos coeurs;

Weym | And in the written word of prophecy we have something more permanent; to which you do well to pay attention--as to a lamp shining in a dimly-lighted place--until day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
